Glossary:
Church Planting: This term is frequently used when referring to the process of starting a new church in any given area.
Church Planter:This term is generally used to refer to the senior pastor of the particular church plant.
MNA:Stands for Missions to North America. MNA is our denominational name for the entire mission related ministry (namely church planting) within the United States (as opposed to the world).
PCA:Presbyterian Church in America, the second largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States.
Pacific Presbytery:The California counties of Inyo, Kern, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and San Bernardino; and Clark county, Nevada.
Redeemer Church Planting Center:The ministry of Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Manhattan, New York, responsible for church planting.
Southwest Church Planting Network:A PCA ministry based in Dallas, Texas, which currently seeks to plant churches in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona with help from various churches, presbyteries and individuals.
